RELEASE AND SUSTAIN

Relax your chest without losing power: keep an active center both in front and behind.
Pushes: the spirals and pivots act as stops/limits, adding effect and melody.

THE PIVOT IS DANCED
INTEGRATE — TIME.

You don’t achieve great movement quality unless you go deep inside—and that work takes time.
FROM THE INSIDE OUT. 
Depth takes time.
Synchronization and coordination also require time.
Effective dancing is expansive dancing because it’s all about connection and coordination.
That, too, takes time.

We practice in duos with an exercise based on a “linear turn” sequence: forward, side, backward—with a stop in the forward cross to change direction. Both roles ‘at the same time’, in mirror image.

**We also recommend **Class #87**, which features a similar sequence—using these same spirals and pivots to create articulated voleos: loose, yet powerful.
Everything is interconnected, and little by little, we’ll integrate the path together.
